Urgh crunch time at work

A deadline’s approaching for work and so my teammates and I are scrambling to finish up our code. It’ll all be over by this Friday but until then it’s high-stress all day. At least I haven’t had to pull any all-nighters like in college…

  1. Fredrick,
I’ve been using your Rhapsody notes for about 1 1/2 years now as I’ve been learning the piece slowly. They’ve been a great help as it’s the most difficult piece I’ve attempted to learn. Have you made a recording of this piece?

Here’s an indirect link from my web site to some of the pieces I’ve recorded over the years.

The only video on this site takes a minute or two to load. It’s an excerpt from Rachnmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances, but I was able to combine both piano parts for two hands.

BTW, I’m using LOGIC on a MAC for all of the orchestration for the Rhapsody. It’s been quite tedious to enter all of the notes for all of the instruments one at a time, but it’s been invaluable in learing the piece. I’m currently working on Var XXIII. I hope to have the whole thing finished, up to speed, and recorded by the end of the year.

    Bob
